Tsavorite

Tsavorite is a stunning green gemstone in the grossular garnet family, and it looks similar to an emerald but is more brilliant and durable. It’s a pure, rare gemstone that deserves attention. Tsavorite was discovered in 1967 and named after the Tsavo (National Park)  Reserve in Kenya where the stone was discovered. Today Tsavorite is found in both Tanzania and Kenya.
