Hello and welcome to the store! I am Thierno Barry, owner and founder of the Company.

I created BARRYGEMS in 2014 with the passion and a vision to share the magnificence and beauty of Africa coloured gemstones. I source every single gem from its rough ethically and responsibly from various African countries, South America, South-East Asia and Australia. All the gems are processed and faceted in house either by me or one of my Master gem-cutters, using state of the art equipment to delicately carve out the beauty out of each gemstone. I design every jewellery piece with the utmost attention to detail, each piece and collection is inspired by experiences and imaginations.
